What is Critical Care / Intensive Care?

Critical care (also known as Intensive Care) is a dedicated healthcare speciality that takes a comprehensive care of patients with acute, life-threatening illness or injury. Critical care is a multidisciplinary approach wherein professional teams of highly experienced and professional physicians, nurses, respiratory care technicians and other allied health professionals use their unique expertise & ability to interpret important clinical information with an access to highly sophisticated equipment and services of support personnel to provide a comprehensive care that leads to the best outcome for the patient.

Operation Theater Complex

Operation Theater is considered the “heart” of the hospital. Aarna offers state of the art operation theater complex capable of providing an infrastructure for performance of all kinds of surgeries. The OT complex has designated seamless modular operation theatre with dedicated air handling units where all complex cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, transplantation and joint replacement procedures can be carried out.

There is a didactic endoscopy suite where all minimally invasive gastro & urological and laparoscopic procedures can be performed. There is a dedicated operation theatre for open and reconstructive procedures as well.

We also have a dedicated sterilization unit well within the OT complex with dedicated sterile and non sterile zones as specified by NABH quality standards.

Cathlab

Aarna Superspeciality Hospital is fully equipped with an advanced Cath Lab, or Catheterization Laboratory. The Cath room is developed according to international standards, ensuring the room is furnished with the best diagnostic machine that helps with sharper resolution.

We have the latest GE, the Angix cath lab, for all types of angiographies. Our team of cardiologists performs carotid, renal, and peripheral angiography as well as angioplasties in the state-of-the-art cath lab.
